Have Stories to Tell, Not Stuff to Show

Laughter is the universal language of connection, and for me, the most genuine moments of joy happen when I’m sitting around with friends and family, recounting the stories of our time together. Many of these stories were born from our travels. From sharing funny memories about my dad from my childhood to reliving moments from when my kids were babies, these events live on, year after year, as we gather to laugh and share.

This is one of the reasons I’m such a huge fan of celebration travel. Instead of giving physical gifts, I love the idea of giving the gift of time, exploration, and experiences together. In my personal life, this has become a tradition. We have an exciting graduation trip planned later this summer for my children: my son just graduated from college, and my daughter from high school. It will be a trip filled with milestones, memories, and plenty of laughter to carry us forward.
